About Artist, Author & Poet Kristina Jacobs
Kristina Jacobs is a dabbler. She writes a dab of this and a bit of that. She also plays with many different art mediums, including clay, wood carving, chip carving, paint pouring, fabric art, resin, cake, photography & more!
She enjoys writing poetry and children’s fantasy. She has published two children’s books: Orion and the Land of the Tomatoes and Sambala the Mighty and Mimba the Wanderer. Her other published works include three short story collections: The Adventures of Sample Girl, Tales of the Wyrd and EverHollow: Stories from the Otherlands. She even penned one short “you solve it” murder mystery called The Salted Caper.
Jacobs is the author of eighteen poetry chapbooks: The Wildwood Guardian, Grey Weir, Slipshod Mornings & Meandering Midnights, Inside Invisible, Dawn After Dusk, Dept. 56, Sparks, Drawn by Grace, All the Purple Days, Charm All Over the Place, Chasing Ordinary, True North, The Heart of the Otherlands, Just my Luck, Breaking Radio Silence, Crook-Tailed Tales (with co-author, Gary Alexander Azerier), Lucky 13 and Signs Point Left.
Even though she can’t sing, she once wrote a lyric songbook called Musicians Wanted to match her lyrics with musical people who can’t write the words to go with their songs!
With the Indie Collaboration she’s contributed to several anthologies including: Yuletide Tales, Kiss and Tales, Snips, Snails & Puppy Dog Tales, Summer Shorts
and Kiss and Tales 2.
In 2022, she published her first full length novel, a science fiction fantasy called Gateways Through the Penumbra.
Kristina is also a member of the poetry group, Emerging Poets and is currently serving as guest editor for their anthology, No Day But Today! which was released, October 2021, The Next Level Publishing.
